Worse on the D+ shows, but it's a product of the VFX teams being stretched thin with too many releases, and the budget going to the big name actors. That being said, Gorr looks great, and only some of the backgrounds look real egregious (Ex. background to full facemask Thor) defector.com/writer-x-offers-inside-look-at-bad-special-effects/ |

I was going to post this in the She-Hulk thread but you're more right than you know. Everything opened up in the past 6-12 months and a ton of the high-end VFX work and crew is being absorbed by Marvel/Star Wars/Avatar among others making it harder for a lot of other productions to find vendors who can turn around high quality work quickly. Lots of projects are struggling in one way or another and VFX houses are often stretched thin as they reallocate resources. It's good because there's a ton of work out there but also can affect deadlines and ultimately quality. I have no idea if that's the case with She-Hulk but judging from the trailer they're struggling somewhere. |
