It's a great cast, great story that should be told, and at the right time.
Kinda wish it had gone to another director. Looks exactly like his last couple movies.

There's not a whole lot of nuance to Eastwood's movies nowadays. What's in the script is exactly what's shot. All characters go from point A to point B as seamlessly as possible.

Yeah, I miss the days of Mystic River, Million Dollar Baby and Letters From Iwo Jima. The Mule looked promising last year...but it just turned out to be on the level of "Eh, it was fine, I guess" that Eastwood has been coasting on for years now.
