If this came out first people would be calling it the first marvel miss in a long time. But maybe deep quar we woulda responded more positively, I dunno. Do regular folks like this show that much?
A lot of my family watched wandavision and discussed shit, maybe it's the spring time and people are more busy but I hear dick all about falcon and bucky from that segment of the population.

WandaVision was a lot better, FAWS is... alright I guess. It's closer to what I would have expected from a Marvel show and I suspect it would have been more widely liked if WV hasn't raised the bar.

That last shot is very evocative of the classic last page comic spread experience.

I heard a rumor that her character was supposed to be introduced in Black Widow and we were supposed to be like "HER AGAIN!" with her appearance here, but COVID turned that plan to shit. Don't know if I believe it yet or not. I guess we'll know when Black Widow (eventually) comes out. |

The flag smasher stuff is still the weakest part, and there's not enough spy intrigue that I'd want after Winter Soldier.
The Walker and Zemo stuff was great, Sharon stuff weak, and while the Black exploration was great, it didn't feel cohesive enough thematically to Sam's story elsewhere. That speech didn't save it.
Weaker than the sum of its parts.
