letterboxd.com/mrtea99/list/red-letter-medias-vhs-collection/I’m gonna watch as many of these as I can. First up. THE CALLER (1987) A woman is living alone at a remote cabin. She gets a knock at the door. It’s a man asking to use her phone. His car got a flat tire a few miles back and he wants to call a tow truck. She let’s him in and the two begin to converse. It’s friendly at first but soon turns flirtatious and then violent. It stars Malcolm McDowell and Madolyn Smith. They’re both enjoyable to watch and the movie is amusingly theatrical but the twist ending is confusing and silly.

THE KISS (1988) After the death of her mother, a teenage girl (Meredith Salenger) is united with her estranged aunt (Joanna Pacula) and her seemingly ordinary life is hijacked by the occult. The Kiss is a fairly standard supernatural horror film. You won’t be bored watching it, but you’ll likely forget its existence soon afterwards.

ZETA ONE (1969) Zeta One (as originally titled) is a 1960’s British sexploitation comedy about James Bond and alien women. Yeah. You read that correctly. The plot don’t matter cause the whole movie is an excuse to show naked women. It was made right before the golden age of porn when all you needed was topless women to titillate. I can’t tell if this makes it more outdated or less outdated. Nothing here is gratuitous. It’s just goofy fun... like Benny Hill... or if Austin Powers had boobs.
