Yes! That is as good as you can get it. Kutcher may have had the looks down pat but Wyle nailed Jobs overall.

Did you meet Steve Jobs or Bill Gates when you worked at IBM in the late 70's?

I was never allowed outside of my office. Food was sent to me through pneumatic tubes, like you see at the bank drive thru.

This looks amazing!!! I'm more intersted in someone portraying Jobs right, then getting his face down.
Zuckerburg looks nothing like Jesse Eisenberg, but that movie was done right! I'm excited for this...

I'm excited for this... Jesse Eisenberg was actually better than the real Mark Zuckerburg. That was my one criticism about The Social Network. Zuckerburg isn't an interesting person in real life. He's just a borderline white collar criminal. The movie had to fabricate a lot to make his story worth telling. Steve Jobs - and Bill Gates to some extent - are a lot more complex and fascinating. That's why it's so important to get this right. You wanna live up to the real life person. Noah Wyle nailed it in his performance. Christian Bale would have been awesome too. But we're stuck with Magneto. I love Michael Fassbender but he's more of a Sean Connery and Clint Eastwood type actor. Steve Jobs needs more of an Inside the Actors Studio type.

I like it because it's based on real stories. Season 1 was based on Compaq inventing the laptop. And season 2 is loosely based on CompuServe and the small businesses that created online gaming & chat rooms. I'm surprised @dukeleto isn't a fan considering he works in the computer business and the show is made in Georgia.

If I hear Angela mention another friggin magical algorithm I might murder someone.

I die a little each time she says algorithm. Like there is some magical computer with magical code that just magically does what the show needs because of algorithms. Keep in mind she was a fucking street artist when the show started. I cussed, thats how mad it makes me just thinking about it.

Dracula is gonna love this. The movie is shot in three formats: 16mm for the 1984 segment, 32mm for the 1988 segment and digital for the 1998 segment.

The movie starts when Steve Job gets fired from Apple. Then the middle is when he makes a comeback with Next (and Pixar) and the ending is him leading the digital revolution.

I'm not sure this is a movie I need to see. If it can elevate above the biopic formula okay, but that three-act structure you just described instills doubt.

A.K.A. making things that other people were developing or had already developed look chic. He did more than that. Apple wouldn't have made it into the 21st century without Steve Jobs. He had to convince Bill Gates to invest money into the company, he had to rejuvenate the company from top to bottom, he had to fight the record companies to ensure the success of iTunes and the iPod and then do the same with telephone companies and the iPhone. Plus, there's the shady stuff like the slave labor in Asia that's helping the company spend less and make more.

The studio has decided that the title is too generic and may be too close to the previous movie and recent documentary. They are officially changing the name of the film to "Applesauce". Full story here.
