For the rest of the movie they took footage from Narnia and CGI in the actors. |

But at least in Justice League you can tell what was directed by Snyder and what was directed by Whedon. This movie is just Narnia meets Alice in Wonderland meets Oz the Great and Powerful. They should have dusted off Alan Smithee instead of dragging two filmmakers names through the mud. This movie was directed by Disney's board of directors. |

This movie is every bit as terrible as you expect it to be. A generic and undercooked story meets garish visuals, tonal dissonance, and boredom. Mackenzie Foy has a certain spark and Keira Knightley is also committed to a pretty batshit performance, but they're wasted in a film where seemingly everyone else is phoning it in. The brief flashes of ballet were kinda neat, but otherwise The Nutcracker and the Four Realms is a disaster. I cannot imagine any kid being enchanted by this.
