I'm only dead on the inside. That doesn't quite count.
I had a total George Constanza moment yesterday. I went out to eat with BF and his sister. They got their food WAY earlier than I got mine and they didn't hesitate to start eating in front of me. At the time I was caught off guard, and this morning it's still bothering me. I totally would have said "go ahead and eat" after a minute or two, but they both just started digging in as soon as their plates were set down. Who does that?

My food came out probably less than 5 minutes later. All the food was hot, and like I said. I WOULD HAVE said "go ahead and start without me" after a minute, but they didn't even hesitate or seem to acknowledge that I was sitting there without a plate in front of me. Am I being ridiculous? Probably, but that's not how I was raised. I've seen them do the same thing at Thanksgiving at their house. I was the only one who waited until everyone was sitting down with a plate (they always serve buffet style) before I started eating.

My wife is an extremely slow eater. Whenever she gets her food first I always tell her to go ahead and dont worry about waiting. Normally me and my son will get ours later and still finish before her.
On another note man this has been a really quick year, we got about four months left until 2016.

I always wanted to get called for jury duty... seems like a nice way to get time off work. It's a very long and tedious process, and I was only there half the day today. I don't think I would've been so concerned about getting out of it if I didn't have so much going on at work during the next couple of weeks, but as soon as the judge said the trial would run into the next week, I was already plotting my escape. Also, my job only covers 3 days of jury duty. On the plus side, the Deputy District Attorney was super hot, like she should be on a crime show hot. The kid's defense attorney seemed like a complete tool, although he was quick to dismiss me as a juror once I unleashed my bs. |

I've been called for jury duty once, and they ended up canceling the trail or something. I was actually looking forward to it, something I've never done before and paid time off work can't beat that.

I usually get to the final stage in civil/monetary suits, then released because of my job.
In other news, I'm now 4 weeks into quitting cigs. Urges are gone pretty much. The throat pain is gone, but I haven't hacked up any black stuff yet. Wonder if I need to be concerned that i haven't yet.

Didn't have time to do a banner for any of the amazing movies that released this weekend. I've just instead made a slightly altered version of the MI5 one, which I think is actually pretty good for a general banner.
