What a ballsack of a morning... I get to the gym to discover my lunch leaked in my gym bag, getting fajita juice on my shorts. That prevented my workout. And to top that off, on my way back to the office, I stepped in dog shit. Everything is coming up Millhouse today. Aw that blows man. Look up youtube videos of baby elephants. It'll make your day I swear. I guess it's worth mentioning that I'm getting married on the 17th. We're going to the Universal Studios parks in Orlando for our honeymoon. Awesome timing what with the forum and all, right? I'll probably pop on in the evenings during that time. People think I'm weird for bringing a laptop on our honeymoon.  Congrats!! Why would it be weird to bring your laptop? Do people go places without their laptop ever? Apparently you can change your username. That was easy. So long, Tornado. Hello... John. You mean A Serbian Film? I would recommend Kill List and Jacob's Ladder. Not the goriest movies by any means but their both highly psychological horror movies. Also, I haven't seen these, but I've heard that the films Martyrs and Inside are both some next level shit if you're looking for some extreme stuff. Oh yeah, Martyrs is actually the one I have set in my mind as #1. That movie messed me up. I almost cried after just cus I couldn't friggen comprehend the next level shit I'd watched. French new wave extremism is just...so messed up. I'll check out those other two as well! I actually haven't seen Martyrs yet. |

Continuing Tornado's conversation from the other board, there was funny bit to the engagement.
Now, I have no idea why, but she had convinced herself that I was going to propose on Thanksgiving or Christmas. I found this out later, and when Thanksgiving came and went, I knew she was going to be certain I would propose on Christmas. That actually was my plan originally. Obviously I wanted it to be a surprise, so I did something that made me very sad. I lied to her and told her that there was no way I could afford a ring right now, and it was probably going to have to wait until we get our taxes done (so February at the earliest). She ended up crying. I felt so bad, but I stayed firm, as I still wanted to surprise her. Unbeknownst to her, I already had the ring, and had it for awhile now.
I also ended up proposing 5 days before Christmas, to make sure it was even more surprising. I guess we're just connected, since somehow she knew I was going to propose over Christmas. One of her friends told me that's what she was figuring, thankfully, which allowed me to alter my plans.
