...How did they plug an Xbox into that? No way in hell that thing has an HDMI port. Also, that game is hard as fuck even when you can see what you're doing.

As far as I'm aware, sets from that era only had one input, and that was for the antenna. I suspect he's got a short range broadcast running of the game, and the antique is just picking up the signal.

Weird, I was going to say something close to all of that as kind of a joke.

I've been in shock since yesterday when I counted up all the movies I saw in the cinema last year. I managed 71 trips to the cinema into one year.

I get to see movies for free and I probably average only three a month at the cinema. I imagine it's a combination of being spoiled as such, and the convenience of streaming so much other media content from home. I'm always pretty overwhelmed by the amount of content I continually have to watch still. I suppose I also just find that I'm very reluctant to waste my time if I'm not sure I'm going to actually enjoy a film. Despite seeing them for free, I still can't bring myself to leave a movie in the middle of it at the theater. I have to watch it beginning to end, so I hate it when I wind up seeing something I don't enjoy.

I'm only up to like 16 since I got movie pass. And that's a ton if you ask me.

I think I made it to 53 in theaters during 2017 including 2016 movies that carried over.

I posted the list in one of the other threads, so I would have to look, but I think it’s Dunkirk, Baby Driver, Wonder Woman, American Assasin (Don’t ask), John Wick, Logan, Last Jedi, Blade Runner and Lost City of Z.

Got violently ill the other day not long after I finished watching Mother! I'm sure it had nothing to do with the last half hour being so intense, but it's certainly thrown me off from ever wanting to watch it again. I'm finally feeling better now, though.

The genius at TBS who decided to program the Jerry & Elaine friends-with-benefits episode followed by the fake orgasm episode, I applaud you.

The wife and I watched Arrival this weekend. Is it just me, or did the Heptapods remind anyone else of Trafalmadorians?
