Could Fargo be the most successful film without any good-looking people in it?

I'm looking into getting a PS4 in the very near future. Is anyone terribly familiar with the main differences between the original console, the Slim and the Pro? The Slim is the cheapest but the Pro looks more heavy duty. I'm mainly going to use it 45% for streaming, 45% blu ray watching and 10% gaming. You guys have any recommendations?

Just get the cheapest of the bunch. The Pro has better hardware and is supposed to make some games perform/look better. If a game is released for PS4, though, it's going to be optimized for each hardware differences, so it's not like you wouldn't be able to play any games. It just may happen to be that some games in the future may look considerably better on the Pro upgrade.
I would just get the Slim, though, if you're not even using it for gaming that often.

The slim is basically just the original console in a smaller box. The pro is 4K capable for streaming but doesn't play UHD discs. The pro will also give you better gaming performance in games that have been optimized for that and will present games in 4K, but all games are supposed to be playable on both skews. In other words, if you have a 4K TV or plan to in the foreseeable future the pro is probably worth the extra $100. If you really are 90% getting this as a streaming/media player and you care about 4K then the Xbox One S might be the better option because it does have a UHD player in addition to 4K streaming capabilities. It is not, however, a great investment as a game console at the moment because Microsoft will soon be putting out a thing called the Scorpio, which is kind of like their version of the Pro but with even more gaming power.

If you are going to stream 4k anyways, there is no need to have UHD disc anyway. Which is one of the reasons Sony left a 4K blu-ray player out of their Pro model. For a few more dollars almost all streaming software is going cheaper than buying a 4K blu-ray. Even if you aren't going to be gaming that much, what are you wanting to play? That does make a huge difference on which one to buy. PS4 has some great exclusive games. Heck not even a few days ago I had three separate customers trade in their XBOne S to get a Pro, reason being...the exclusives with 4K gaming. The 4K blu-ray added to the S model wasn't enough to keep the system, they didn't buy any 4k blu-rays they streamed everything. Which can be done on the Pro as well. The Scorpio...I'm not too sure is going to be for an individual who doesn't game that much. It's for their hardcore dedicated gamers who don't want to join the PC world yet.
I'd say the Pro isn't a bad call to get. The new model PS4 has a 500 gig and 1 TB option.

If you are going to stream 4k anyways, there is no need to have UHD disc anyway. Ummm, as with all matters of streaming vs. physical media that's only true if you're willing to limit yourself to the titles that Netflix and the other streaming services have available at any given time, which is limited even further by which titles they have in 4K. If, say, you wanted to watch The Revenant in 4K right now getting the UHD disc is the only way to do it to my knowledge.

He means you can buy movies from Amazon, iTunes, Google Play, Vudu, etc. Yes, for about $15 you can own a movie digitally (sometimes even with special features) while a blu-ray will cost you $20+. Although with old movies you can find them at the $5 bin at Wal-Mart and Best Buy.

Yeah... and I'm saying that there are still titles you can't get in 4K from those sources. Even on physical media, 4K is still relatively new. The library isn't big yet. It's a moot point.

And it might stay a small library on the physical side of 4K. Physical sales all together are lower than ever and with the price point of 4K Disc being on the pricey side for most people, many are looking to stream 4K instead of buying physical.
IMHO, 4K is a little early to market. Many don't understand it, and out of that many don't even get what HDR is. It's a convoluted market with terms that majority of consumers scratch their head over. I've had people call us and complain that their T.V. isn't working with their XBox 4K player when they try to watch their movie. I ask if they have a 4K T.V. and they respond with well it's a 65 inch Sony/Samsung/Vizio. If you already have Netflix, Hulu and the lot it's seriously a cheaper deal to upgrade to 4K than it is to wait for the physical copy to lower in price.

I have a 55" 4K in the living room that I picked up on sale last year, but unfortunately it's not HDR compatible. By the time I realized what HDR was, it was too late to return. If I had known when I was making the purchase, I would've definitely spent the extra $100.

If you already have Netflix, Hulu and the lot it's seriously a cheaper deal to upgrade to 4K than it is to wait for the physical copy to lower in price. I still see people with HDTVs who don't even know to watch the HD cable channels and just watch the 480p channels with the aspect ratio stretched and have seemingly no idea that this is a problem. Some people are just beyond saving. At the moment 4K is still something of a luxury item and the media is currently priced for the early adopter market. Still, the format is more of a success than the zeitgeist would have you believe. All I'm saying is that, given the dearth of sources for 4K content at the moment cutting out UHD blu-ray is not always going to be an option as there are a ton of titles that you simply will not be able to watch in 4K on Netflix and Hulu at all. In fact pretty much the only HD content that either of those services are their original productions.

I won't be very happy when JC Penney goes under.
They're one of the few stores out there that have Tall sizes available. It sucks being a tall guy. Ordering clothes online sucks.
