When I first heard about this, I honestly thought that it must be a joke. But no... In a display of stupidity that makes signing Adam Sandler to a multi-picture deal seem like a stroke of genius, Netflix has signed a seven figure licensing deal with Rob Liefeld to use the various forgettable characters from his Extreme comics, because Deadpool. In a move to ensure that this project is a total disaster, Akiva Goldsman will be in charge of the writers room. The show runner will be some guy named Greg Lessans, who has never made a successful film. At least they haven't hired Scott Buck, yet.
