I can't be the only NFL fan left here. Season starts Thursday night.

Mack is a great get for the Bears. The Raiders (and Gruden) are a clownshow.
This feels like another year where a few teams could come outta nowhere, like the Jags or the Rams last year.
Curious to see how the Niners do with a full year of Jimmy G. Dont think they win the division, but could be a wildcard.
Bit worried about another year of Tom Brady aging, but honestly the AFC doesn't have much competition outside of the Jags and Stillers. I'd be surprised if the Pat's weren't in at least the AFC Championship game again.

For those of you looking for good football content, would recommend anything by Kevin Clark or Robert May's at The Ringer. The articles and that podcast as well. Not the Mike Lomabardi podcast though.

I think Jimmy G is the most overrated player in the game. I'm fully expecting the 49ers to fall on their face this year.
And yes, I too love The Ringer. Why don't you like Mike Lombardi? He is super full of himself but I do like his perspective.

Not enough for me to not listen, but enough I wouldn't recommend him to first time listeners.

He does struggle to go more than five minutes without mentioning how he worked with Belichick or the Patriot Way or whatever. I do like him a lot though. The Ringer's NFL podcasts have slowly surpassed their NBA content for me in the last year.

Do or die for my Steelers.
The issue with Mike Tomlin is that I'm ready for him to go if they don't get it done, but who do you replace him with?

I'm tired of having the best talent in the NFL only to be let down playoff after playoff.

That's a nice problem to have. At least your team has won a Super Bowl in your lifetime. Edit: My mistake - two Super Bowls in your lifetime.

Shoulda traded bell when we had the chance.
Still got zero defense. No tacklers. Need an lb that can be a stud.

I was really surprised you tagged him again. Seemed like there was about a 0% chance of that working out well given his attitude last year.

As much as l love him as a player, you can find a serviceable running back and a team can succeed. You can find good players at the position late in drafts, it happens a lot. Hell, he was a late 2nd rounder. And I liked Conner outta Pitt, so let’s see what he can do. Anyways pumped for tomorrow. Title defense begins, which is an odd thing to say.

Falcons looked terrible last night. Not sure how Steve Sarkisian even has a job in the NFL at this point.
