It's honestly harmless, and you've seen it before. Yet, it's so charming, and Henry Golding just oozes with charisma, that it almost doesn't matter that this is a tied and true rom-com at the end of the day. Jon M. Chu handles it all with flash and care, including one of my favorite scenes of the year.
The hype is real on this one. It deserves the support.
