I've read every issue of Spider-Man he ever drew. I'm more of a John Romita guy, but Ditko did some beautiful groundwork for the character.
Rest in peace, my good man. May your work live on.

I own the entire Stan Lee-Steve Ditko run, and I too prefer John Romita, but I definitely see the influence/impact of Ditko. He's up there with Jack Kirby.

But if it wasn't for Ditko, Spidey would have had a magic ring and a web gun. He also wouldn't have the face hiding mask. Neverending you have the first 38 issues? All of them?

" Sit down before you wet your diapers, son I am only missing the original Amazing Fantasy 15, and issues 8 and 14 of the original Amazing Spider-Man Vol.1. of the entire Stan Lee-Steve Ditko run.

My copies are all digital from a CD-ROM set that printed the first 500 issues of Amazing.
Still haven't read them all, but I got through about 250 of them. Then they got confusing because of references to Spectacular and other comics, so I dwindled.
