Has anyone else watched this yet? Anyways, the first two episodes are below, the rest are available through You Tube Red, which you can also get with a 30-day free trial and cancel before you have to pay. If you were ever a fan of the Karate Kid series, I highly recommend. This is the true sequel that the series deserves, and William Zabka kicks ass. Good news is that it's already been greenlit for season 2. Enjoy!

Never seen any of the original Karate Kid movies... So I don't think I will watch this.

Never seen any of the original Karate Kid movies... So I don't think I will watch this. In that case, I highly recommend watching the original trilogy. |

Never seen any of the original Karate Kid movies... So I don't think I will watch this. Ya know what go into it cold. Watch the first two episodes. There are clips that fill you in on the 'good' parts of the first movie anyway. Never was a huge karate kid... Kid but Ive seen the first one at the very least, this wasn't that bad. Has a chance to walk that fine line of tongue in cheek cheesiness, hoping they hit on more jokes than we saw in the trailers. |

He manages to elevate his character from the two dimensional bad boy of the first film, to a character with a lot of depth and emotion, due to the failures he's had to endure since/because of the first film. He also provides plenty of dry humor, which works really well when paired up with his protégé, or even Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio). I think if it wasn't for the YouTube video that came out a couple years back giving the reasons why Daniel was really the true villain in the original Karate Kid, or Barney's fan boy obsession of Johnny Lawrence in How I Met Your Mother, this may have never gotten made. |

The actor who played Kreese in Karate Kid's 1 and 3 is returning as a series regular for season 2. I might have to start watching this.

Of all the great new shows that are currently available I can't believe I'm watching season 5. It it equally entertaining and criminally stupid. So, so stupid but man is it an easy show to breeze through.
