Wait is that a literal skeletons joke or is there something controversial on that ride I didn't know about? Rumor has it there was a time, when it first opened, there were actual skeletons on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, because they looked more realistic. |

That part was always there and they closed it down this year I think. |

So now you have this guy whose ran Pixar successfully for 30+ years, who rescued Disney Animation from the dumpster, and for the most part, has a genuinely good personality. You're gonna kick him out for... hugging? ... okay...? And who are you putting in charge? The director of Frozen? Really? ... okay... LucasFilm is obviously being mismanaged and now you're gonna put Disney Animation (and possibly Pixar) at risk of also going down the tube... over hugging? ... okay... Thankfully there's Kevin Feige and the upcoming purchase of Fox to counterbalance all this.

Garrison Keiler was the tamest. If one assumes that Tambor didn't sexually harass people on Transparent (I dont), all he's guilty of is being a loud angry asshole at work to Walter.
Hand on knee is a line above those but below others. It's an I-wanna-fuck-you gesture in most circumstances.

There's no evidence to suggest that anyone other than Lasseter has been the main creative driving force behind Pixar and Disney Animation. I mean, we've seen how much Pixar has declined when Lasseter shifted his focus to Disney Animation. The man has no heir to the throne. When these companies start failing, and layoffs start happening, these women who complained that he hugged too much are gonna face the wrath of angry co-workers. You gotta pick your battles. Didn't #MeToo learn that when they tried to take down Aziz Ansari? Jeffrey Katzenberg was a MAJOR douchebag but as soon as he left to DreamWorks and Disney collapsed, people sure missed him. |
