I liked it. They certainly lightened the mood. It has humor, color saturation and actual music by Danny Elfman instead of Hans Zimmer’s ambient sound. How much of this was Zack Snyder, interference by Warner Bros or Joss Whedon will be debated this weekend. What remains from the “original vision” is another boring end-of-world plot. It’s pointless to keep protesting because while people keep paying to watch these movies, Hollywood will keep making them. The villain you can add to the growing list of boring villains. It’s gotten so bad I miss the days of Arnold Schwarzenegger as Mr. Freeze and Eric Foreman as Venom. Also, Ben Affleck clearly wants out of his contract. He was the best part of Batman vs Superman but somehow the worst part of Justice League. Is this the Christian Bale disease? Michael Keaton can sleep well at night. He’s still the best Batman. So why did I end up liking the movie despite so much blatant flaws? I... liked the heroes. Wonder Woman is awesome. Aquaman is awesome. Cyborg is surprisingly good. The Flash could have been toned down a bit but he’s fun. Superman was actually allowed to be Superman. Oh, no! I spoiled the movie for FShuttari.

I admit, I laughed when I saw that the 1 rating was "Martha."

It's baffling, just unfathomable to me that there are people out there anticipating this movie and genuinely looking forward to it. I really can't comprehend it.

I'll be seeing it on Friday. You guys need to get with movie pass. Even if it fails next week, still have a month with crazy cheap movies.
Heard Batman really sucks... That's a shame. But let Superman take over for leader, and bring flash into the mix as the fan favorite with flashpoint.
And honestly when movies cost pratically nothing... It's hard to get too mad about em. Can just up and leave if you don't like it at all, but most of the time its pretty easy to excuse shitty movies.

I'll be seeing it after my shift tomorrow. It's kind of a "eh, sure, what the hell" reaction, but I'm not expecting much.
I am getting to the point where I wonder why I bother. I thought both BvS and Suicide Squad were awful. I did give up on something like the Transformers series and stopped watching them altogether. I guess the main difference is that each of the DC movies have changes in directors/writers/producers, and I'm secretly hoping they'll get their act together. Transformers, on the other hand, was pretty much always the same in each outting.

Well I get seeing movies basically for free. My threshold of tolerance is much wider when they're free.
Then again, the older I get the less likely I am to invest time into movies I know will be bad. Hence why Dumb and Dumber To got the axe 20 minutes in. Life's too short, too many better movies I haven't seen.

Heard Batman really sucks... George Clooney put more effort into the role. That’s... the intent. Everyone still prefers TV Flash. Erza was ... a bit much. Cyborg was probably better.

From everything I've read it seems its better than BvS but not as good as Wonder Woman... Sounds about right.

Justice League - Review Thread
Well crap... I'm going to have to side with Neverending on this one. This movie was light-hearted and hopeful, they did a wonderful job with the heroes bonding and the banter. I love the dynamic of the team and how everything worked out. If we could get more of this from future DC movies, were on a good path. Also Superman returning, and having to be taken down by the rest of the justice league was aweosme! Especially when he tilts his head and looks at flash in super speed. I had goosebumps. Now on to the bad stuff.Steppenwolfe or whatever his name is such a terrible villain, bland and totally forgettable. Another plot to destroy the world and use some crazy weapon that needs to be combined to do it. (Yawn) At times the effects looked really bad, especially for a movie of this caliber. Maybe it's because Joss Whedon stepped and reshot most of the actions scenes? And they didn't have time to get the effects done in time. The pacing is very much off at times, like you can tell when it's Snyder and when it's Whedon. Scenes don't mesh together at times. Even with all that going for it, overall I was satisfied. Justice League to me is a much bigger deal than Avengers ever was. And it passed my expectations of what a Justice League movie could be. As it stands
Man of Steel - B Batman Vs. Superman - D Suicide Squad - C Wonder Woman - A Justice League - B+go see it, and have fun. Your meant to have fun watching this movie.

It was better than BvS and SS. That's probably the best thing I can say. If you liked those movies even remotely, you should like this.
I actually agree with most of everything in FShuttari's review, except with a different conclusion. That spoiler was indeed my favorite part of the movie. I actually got giddy and giggly during that bit. However, all the bad had an overall greater weight to me. Maybe not to bring the entire movie down, but holding it back. The movie was okay, but it was just down the middle. It was fine, but it's a movie that should be grand. Bad pacing and bad CGI? Check, check. Lackluster villain? Check. If your central plot of the movie is terrible, bland and forgettable, so is your movie for the most part, as far as I'm concerned. That ultimately holds back the positives from pushing the film over into the overall good spectrum.
That, and I did not like The Flash. He was the most disappointing part of the movie to me, not Batman. From the way he moved, to his awkward reactions continually throughout.
On a positive note, the cartoon character in the movie, Cyborg, might have surprised me the most. I found him far more interesting than anticipated.

As it stands
Man of Steel - B Batman Vs. Superman - D Suicide Squad - C Wonder Woman - A Justice League - B+ No way this is better than Man of Steel. Lets see... Superman isnt murdering civilians, he isn't acting like a tyrant and is closer to the Christopher Reeve representation of Superman... He's hopeful not depressed all the time... Yea I'm going to have to say this is a better film. Batman isn't also murdering criminals and you have the team coming together.

I liked it. There's some issues to be sure, but the good outweighs the bad. You can tell what scenes have Joss Whedon's influence, and the lighter/more hopeful tone definitely works in the movie's favor. One of the best things about it is the characterization and how everybody relates to one another. The chemistry is on-point, and both The Flash and Aquaman steal the show, with Wonder Woman serving as another bright spot yet again. The villain is basically a non-character and story-wise, it's nothing we haven't seen before. Plus, like The Avengers, the pacing takes a while to smooth out, but it's executed with enough flair and fun. The fact that it came out good at all, given the production troubles, is a miracle in and of itself. But go and have a good time.
