He's an attention whore. It's how he advertises his movies, by trolling people who don't like them into hate watching them. This is more than likely a stunt to re-boost the streaming numbers of his own Rampage films.

I mean seriously, as many video game adaptations as he has done he can't be stupid enough to have not heard of Rampage. In fact it's why I suspect he has titled his movies Rampage in the first place, so he can leech off of an eventual Rampage movie Asylum style should it ever have gotten made. Or to trick people into thinking he made the Rampage movie first, one or the other.
