When the Rock screams "GEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOORGE!" I am so tempted to shout back "WATCH OUT FOR THAT TREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

Oh boy, me and Rampage go way back. I used to play the machine at the arcade all the damn time.

But the thing is that the Rampage video games have a goofy tongue-in-cheek tone that makes them fun. I play this trailer and it's a dry, stone-faced San Andreas blended with Mighty Joe Young (the remake, not the good one). I might see it for the giant monster mayhem, but San Andreas was a pile of ballsack and this is from the same director, so I won't be expecting much.

Lizzie Looks cool though.

So like, when I heard this announced I just sort of assumed it would fall through because making a movie based on Rampage is just insane, but low and behold, they actually did it.

So, the new release date for Avengers: Infinity War is one week after the release of Rampage.  I'm sure the folks at WB are less than thrilled with Disney at the moment.  

They won't do it at this late stage just to save face.

WB was willing to move Batman v Superman to avoid competition from Captain America: Civil War (and a damn good thing they did, too).  Rampage is no BvS.  At the end of the day, nobody cared that BvS moved.  Most won't even notice if Rampage moves.
