I'm gonna miss the hour-long format -- and the band -- for sure, but the Conan 25 thing and the shift in focus to more remotes for the half-hour format will help ease the pain.

The remotes have always been the best part of the show, so it makes sense. Although it is one of the only talk shows that I enjoy the guest interviews as well. Some talk show hosts, like Jimmy Kimmel, despite some great bits and shorts, bore me to absolute tears trying to watch do interviews.

I used to enjoy Kimmel, but he's gone downhill for me. Conan has been the only late night host I've watched regularly and consistently enjoyed. Whatever the new format will be, I'm there. In terms of interviews on Conan, some of my favorites in the past few years especially have been the ones with Jeff Goldblum. Those were gold, Jerry, GOLD (no pun intended)!
And you can bet your ass I'll be listening to Conan's new podcast.

Anybody else listening to the podcast? Ferrell was great, really enjoyed Kristen Bell, didn't love Burr when I listened to it today but I've never been a big fan of him.

I've listened to 4 of them, some were good some not.
Burr is less funny now that he's woke. That was a bad interview. Enjoyed Farrell, Dax, and Bell, and I generally hate Dax except Idiocracy.
