If this weren't only an eight-episode season, then this probably wouldn't feel like such an issue. But when you're only doing eight episodes and most of them are around 35 minutes, spending most of the time on side stories rather than the main driving force of the season feels like a bit of a cop out. The Lone Wolf and Cub film saga lasted for six films. The manga version was twenty-eight volumes! Those two had loads of adventures before they finally got around to settling the score from the first story. Sounds tedious. |

First and as always, shut the fuck up Kevin Smith. There's more talent in the worst frame of Last Jedi than your entire filmography. Second, Favreau has a weird tradition where he gives 'challenge coins' to everyone on the crews of his projects. He's had them made for everything from Iron Man to Zathura. He gave me that same Mandalorian coin about a year ago, it's a really cool souvenir. No season 2 coin for me though, ah well. |
