Its another Hugh Laurie series and a good one.
Its about a psychiatrist who does consulting work, checking on cases and directing patients to the right help for their problems.
He gets overly involved with the wife of an abusive cop. She seems to also be suffering from Dissociative Personality Disorder. Chance gets threatened and with the help of a really scary guy named "D", brilliantly played by Ethan Suplee, tries to get the goods on the crooked cop.
