Ross & Rachel didn't become the center of attention till season 2. Aside from Ross getting jealous over Rachel dating the Italian guy, they didn’t dwell on them as a potential couple. Ross mostly spent the season dealing with his divorce and the birth of his son. He was the only character that had a proper arc. They even gave him a monkey. Chandler, on the other hand, was the constant source of humor. In almost every episode the sub-plot was about him in some silly scenario. People thinking he’s gay. Getting stuck in an elevator with a supermodel. Seeing Rachel’s nipples. Dating the co-worker he’s supposed to layoff. The list goes on. If the writers had their way they would have given Chandler the A-plots and Friends would have become a totally different show.

You can believe that if you want. Ross & Rachel were the A-characters, Monica & Chandler were the B-characters and Joey & Phoebe were the C-characters. In a filler episode, any character could be the star but in the main seasonal arc episodes the center of attention was either Ross & Rachel or Monica & Chandler or Ross & Chandler or Monica & Rachel.

Of course you can. He had wacky parents, a wacky girlfriend and that one time he hooked up with his roommate’s girl.

Saw the episode a few days ago where they're making a video for Emma's 1st birthday to show her when she's 18. That would be 2020.

I thought about that too when talks of a "reunion" came up last year. Obviously this show would never have a proper reunion episode or spin-off series, but if they did, Ben & Emma & the twins would all be college-aged, or in Ben's case, in his 20's. You could have a plot revolve around Ben's wedding or Emma and the twins going off to the college. Or something like that which would get all the characters in the same room. 

I meant a series in which all 6 characters would show up, like Fuller House or Girl Meets World.
