This movie made me do a time-warp - I thought I was back in January with the quality and forgettable factor of this movie. There are essentially two bigger twists, one being obvious early on, and the other becoming more obvious throughout the movie. The action is John Wick-lite in every way, shape, and form. The only clever moment of the film was shown in the trailers, but, like most everything else, is essentially for naught and only happens to give our protagonist a new place to run and do a thing.
Charlize Theron barely held this movie together - put a no-name actor/actress in her place, and this goes straight to the Netflix "Suggested for you because of your interest in Triple 9" bin. Otherwise, this is one of those movies like most of what Robert DeNiro, Bruce Willis and Samuel L Jackson churn out these days - a borderline paycheck.

That's a shame. I thought the movie looked like it would be fun. I'll probably still give it a chance, but it's definitely going to the bottom of my list of things to see.

Yea this wasn't very good.
Kinda just boring overall, it isn't bad action but theron really can't sell the fighting as well as other actors have. Couple cool scenes. But it's like every spy movie just with double crossing and a lack of exposition that kinda just makes things needlessly murky.
Soundtrack was alright, but some of the effects were terrible, and there wasn't much to make me come back in the future.
Forgettable film.
