Started re-watching this show, first time since high school or college. Holds up really well. Ferrigno's Hulk is more Frankenstein monster than superhero. Bill Bixby is also great. Arguably still the best version of Banner/Hulk if you wanna take the character seriously.

The second TV movie for The Incredible Hulk has a plot point involving a drug called Myostatin, which was completely fictional at the time. In today's reality, Myostatin is a gene that regulates muscle growth, and has the potential to be manipulated to grant huge muscles. Coincidence?

In today's reality, Myostatin is a gene that regulates muscle growth, and has the potential to be manipulated to grant huge muscles. Coincidence? Steroids existed in the 80's. Myostatin wasn't identified and named until the 1990's. Whoever gave the gene the name appears to have taken the name from this TV movie. The Myostatin in the TV movie didn't have anything to do with muscle growth.
