The people who grew up with it still like it, don't know what the kids think. will let us know in his next video essay. He's hip with the kids. Most of my friends don't like it, but my girlfriend and I both love it. I guess it's still fairly divisive. It's funny you mention my essays though, I was briefly considering making one on Tim Burton and it was inspired by casually rewatching Batman Returns. Don't think I'm gonna follow through though. |

Gotta love how Burton infuriated fanboys within seconds. Joker killed Batman parents followed directly by Alfred taking Vicki Vale to the batcave. Wyldstaar , you're an old fart. Take us back to 1989. Tell us your point of view. In 1989, my experience with Batman was limited to Adam West, SuperFriends, The New Adventures of Batman, and a couple of guest appearances on Scooby-Doo. I didn't read superhero comics back then, just manga and Aliens. I thought Batman (1989) was as good as it could ever be. Robocop beat Batman to dropping the villain off a building by two years, and Die Hard by one. |
