The HFPA were clearly smoking crack or something. Giving the award to Green Book was embarrassing enough but then they really top themselves with that BR award. Holy shit. Also half their TV awards went to shit that absolutely no one watches. The hosts sucked too.

I don’t know anyone who put BR in there top 10 films not even in top 20 But to give this movie which barely touched Freddy Mercury biopic and went for the flashy and low level LGBQT story is in itself is laughable. Decent songs, okay story. I will give one credit and the guy nailed it at playing Freddy Mercury. I mean not to sound like a broken record but Aquaman was a better film than this. At this point if Golden Globes going for the shock factor. They should have given it Black Panther and called it a day. |

A Star is Born, If Beale Street Could Talk, BlacKkKlansman, and Black Panther are all absolutely worthy nominations. They should have fucking murdered Bohemian Rhapsody.
For all the shit people give Black Panther for being nominated/getting all the praise it has, I don’t know a single soul that would say Bohemian Rhapsody was better than Black Panther.
Literally every movie up there was objectively better. This is so weird.
Thank God for the Oscars, and the Foreign Press can go Fuck themselves.

Outside a few awards I really only called Sandra oh winning for killing Eve. Everything else was rather shocking.
