It’s scary that we live in a world where there are people who will pour over thousands of tweets, sometimes tens of thousands, over several years just so they can find something to use and ruin your career or life. We need to find out who these people are and end them.
That said just add this to reason #43,678,412 why you shouldn’t have a Twitter account. Reasons to have a Twitter still stand at 0.

I don't think the dude should have been fired just for the tweets, but not apologizing for them is a problem. It's not like he made some off-colour jokes at the expense of gay people, the dude went on angry rants about not wanting a gay son. Maybe they were meant as jokes, but they don't read like that. His first response was a non-apology that basically read like "Why are y'all upset about the things I've said? I'm awesome." My point is, I don't see why this is the hill he chose to die in, but since he did, I'm not sure what else the Academy was expected to do. That said, I'll plainly admit my bias that I think Kevin Hart is a hack comedian and I groaned when he was announced as host. Now that he's gone, there's room for the King.  |
