I'm I the only one who thinks Chris Rock is doing very well? The monologue didn't quite live up to the hype, but I don't know what could have. He's certainly blowing Neil Patrick Harris out of the water. He's been the funniest host in years. Still not perfect, and his monologue in 2005 was better, but I still liked it.

Meh, in retrospect it makes sense. He won at BAFTA which should have been a clue. Also he hasn't won multiple razzies in the past.... and has actual range as an actor.

I knew she had already won for a similar documentary called Saving Face in the past.

Non-PC comment: The Weeknd had the better song.

Maybe non-PC, but maybe not: the Oscars are meant to celebrate film, not shove political agendas down our throats. So stop inviting politicians.

Non-PC comment: The Weeknd had the better song. If I was a voter I would have gone with the song from Youth simply because it was actually integrated into the movie in a meaningful way which I suspect was not the case with the other nominees.

Ennio Morricone should have won 50 years ago. Better late than never, I guess.
