Animaniacs (and Tiny Toons) Return

Wow! I remember the old show. It's been over 2 decades since I watch the cartoon TV show. I remember when I was young.

Can't wait to get my nieces and nephews hooked.

Badass unicorns... I'm in. Primal was so cool.

I had a middle school/high school girlfriend that sang like Elmyra.

I’m surprised people are loving this.

It’s just the Warner’s and Pinky and the Brain. They didn’t bring back any of the other characters. No Slappy the Squirrel. No Goodfeathers. No Rita and Runt. No Chicken Boo. No Buttons and Mindy. They didn’t bring back any of the classic segments. No good idea / bad idea. No wheel of morality.

Pinky and the Brian is really good. None of the original writers were brought back. The show is being run by one of Seth MacFarlane’s cronies. But they didn’t miss a beat with Pinky and the Brian. I’m very impressed with how those segments turned out. But the Warner’s I find to be very on the nose. They’re very wacky but they’re missing a lot of the charm that comes from being, you know, a variety show, which this currently iteration is certainly not. The Warner’s could be fourth wall breaking but they could also be this:
