It's got a cool cast but the filmmaking is nothing too extraordinary and I could see the remake being a more engaging version for 2017 audiences. I guess maybe wait and see if the early buzz on the remake is good and then decide then which one you want to see first. |

Murder on the Orient Express (Sidney Lumet, 1974)- 6/10 Haunting in Venice got me in the mood to watch the Lumet version. I can’t tell if Albert Finney’s performance was a joke or not. They should have cast Sean Connery. Hercule Poirot with a Scottish accent?? It would have been less ridiculous. |
