Fast & Furious has surpassed James Bond as the gold standard of action movies. Where else you gonna watch:
- a street car race in Havana Cuba featuring a vehicle explosion - a prison fight with The Rock and Jason Statham taking down everyone in spectacular fashion - a car chase in New York City with a block full of vehicles taken over remotely by the bad guys - a group of cars chased by a Russian submarine - Jason Statham, carrying a baby, in a gun fight in a plane filled with henchmen - Charlize Theron, as a Blofeld style villain, failing to start World War III and escaping to battle another day
Not a James Bond. That's for sure.
Watch Wild Speed: Ice Break. It's gonna win at least 10 Golden Stake Awards.

Is there a post-credits scene?

Is there a post-credits scene? Nope. There was supposed to be one, possibly to set up a Rock-Statham spin-off (they even cast Helen Mirren as Statham's mom and her two scenes are great) but Diesel went crying to the studio and they removed it at the last second. It should be on the blu ray.

How many franchises have delivered 7th movies, and not managed to get stale? I fear for the 8th installment, if there is one, but this was another good entry in the series.
7/10 - Good movie

This is Part 8. You mean you fear for Part 9. Also, Fast & Furious is in a league of its own because Part 5 restructured the series. This is really Part 4.

This series knows what it's fans wants, and gives them exactly that. I haven't seen the 8th one, but I know I'll like it, since I liked 5-7

The perfect word to describe this film is: absurd.
But we know what we're getting into at this point.
I'm glad that The Rock and The Stath are forming a splinter franchise as that's what the series needs.
The kid being named Brian was a nice touch (if outrageously predictable) but the fact that Brian is still alive in-film just made it odd.
Two scenes were truly applaud-worthy: the prison escape and 1 Stath and a Baby - as long as they keep thinking up these kinds of set pieces, they'll be alright.
Might be time to wrap it all up soon.
7.5/10

$1.2b is insane bank but they must be on the descent now.
I want a spin-off with the Nobodies.
