I think it's Sno's brother, Coop, who dislikes it also. I've tried twice now. I respect it and what Lynch is doing, but I don't find the film particularly compelling. It isn't just because I don't get it either. On a second viewing I actually found I had a decent grip on what was going on (relatively anyway) and I still didn't care. |

Mulholland Drive is a favorite of mine because it feels like a nightmare and the structure is so organic. Inland Empire is even more batshit and I love it almost as much.

On the "They Shoot Pictures..." top 1,000 list Mulholland Drive is ranked #64. This is a list where hardly any recent films are rated highly, though that continues to change with each update. But anyways I'm far from the only one that appreciates the film. It's absolutely brilliant cinema.
