Wait. I just remembered. Die Another Day ended in that Ice Palace. Okay. I guess there's been plenty of snow adventures for 007.

I'd definitely be up for another winter setting.
Personally, I hope they don't call the movie Shatterhand. One word title, starts with an S, sounds like kind of an aggressive name, etc. Rings a little close to Skyfall in my opinion.
I think Devil May Care and The Property of a Lady would both be good (or the few that I mentioned). The lady, in this case, would hopefully be Judi Dench's M and not another new woman for Bond to fall in love with. The idea that Bond is somewhat a product of M's management and how he thrives going forward is much more interesting to me than another story about Bond falling a girl so closely removed from Vesper.

Obviously. Doesn't mean the film can't reference their relationship.

The movie begins in Austria and ends in Rome. We go from mountains and snow into one of the most old school European cities. So it is possible that this could be a spiritual successor to Skyfall.

I agree. But I think it sounds false.
I'll give it a 1 in 3 chance, and I'm only giving it such good odds because they just got the Blofeld rights back.
He's not old and weird enough.

I'll give it a 1 in 3 chance www.mi6-hq.com/sections/articles/bond-24-report-20141113-22-blofeld-returnsJames Bond's nemesis, Ernst Stavro Blofeld, may be facing off against 007 again if press reports about Bond 24 prove true. According to a tipster to the Daily Mail, the character will be brought back to the big screen after 30 years in the guise of Christoph Waltz, who was cast in the 24th James Bond film last week. The reports also indicate that Christoph Waltz's character will be announced at the press conference as Franz Oberhauser, the son of the late Hans Oberhauser, a ski instructor who acted as a father figure to Bond. According to the source, this is a bluff and Waltz is actually playing Blofeld. (NEW TITLE IDEA: JAMES BOND INTO DARKNESS) "Christoph Waltz is playing Blofeld in the next Bond film. The tone of the 007 films has changed significantly in recent years and the producers have changed the character to fit in with the new-look 007." The new Blofeld will be "just as sinister as earlier incarnations but will be more sophisticated and less campy". The news breaks almost exactly one year after Danjaq and MGM secured all intellectual property rights to Blofeld and the screen adaptation rights of Ian Fleming's contested 'Thunderball' novel from the estate of Kevin McLory.

If he is, I hope its not something that was meant to be a twist within the movie.
