Haven't liked any of these other than the first one. Don't expect that to change here.

As young as she appears this i think is a flashback and something happened too Elizabeth and Wills Heart so to speak. Not that Keira Knightly is looking old but compared too the time gap to have a son that old is what i mean.

I wonder how many years after At World's End this is supposed to be set.

I wonder how many years after At World's End this is supposed to be set. That young man is playing Will & Elizabeth's son, which is amusing considering that Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightly aren't old enough to have a 20 year old son. And by the looks of it, no effort was made to make them look older.

Is that confirmed or just speculation? Also, maybe being Captain of The Flying Dutchman preserves Will's aging. He looked exactly the same in the post credits scene in At World's End.

The plot is basically: Javier Bardem getting revenge on Jack Jack searching for Poseidon so he can control the sea Will's son trying to rescue him from the Dutchman Yeah, but Keira Knightly doesn't look 20 years older.

Couple things. 1: I just noticed Hans Zimmer is not doing the music. That's interesting. It'll be the first one since the original that he's not credited as the composer (though, he was heavily involved in its development). Looking at the new guy's career, he seems to be one those Hans Zimmer "underlings", so the sound/style will probably remain consistent. 2: In the most recent trailer, it says "The Final Adventure Begins". To me, that makes it sound like there could be a 6th movie. If this was the final movie, wouldn't it say something along the lines of "Witness The Final Adventure" or something similar? I just find it weird for the tagline to say something is beginning if it ends at the same time. Might there be a cliffhanger at the end? Is that confirmed or just speculation? It's a shame they didn't utilize the real-time time difference between the end of At World's End (before the ending stinger) and Dead Men Tell No Tales. As they explained in the movie, the captain of the Flying Dutchman can only step on land every ten years. Well, it's been exactly ten years since that movie. It would've been a fun little nod to that, if they somehow involved it.

They should get Axl Rose to appear in the next one. He wouldn't even need a costume.

I'll make a deal with myself, if it has over 75% on RT I'll watch it. I still have Guardians of the Galaxy and Alien: Covenant to go through and I'm not sure if I'll get to them before next weekend.
For reference, the previous four Pirates movies have a 79%, 54%, 45% and 32% respectively.
