Adam Deexan I need your very British perspective on Noel and Liam Gallagher.

My favorite band of all time. Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds are great, he's still producing great songs. Interested to see what Liam does this year. Beady Eye was hit or miss.

They made two of the best albums of all time and then got too self-indulgent for their own good after too much champagne and cocaine. Though all the albums after the first two have their rare moments of the band at their best.
Liam in his pomp was one of the greatest frontmen of all time due to his sheer charisma and presence, it's a shame he only had the voice to go with it in the earlier years.
Noel is a national treasure who's one of the wittiest people on the planet and quite clearly the brains behind the entire operation.
Together they could be transcendent. Apart, neither comes anywhere close to hitting the same highs of early Oasis.
They'll reform in 2019 for one last paycheque.

'(What's the Story) Morning Glory?' is my favourite album as there's not a filler track on there, but if I had to narrow it down to three from their entire back catalogue, I'd go for: - Slide Away - Gas Panic! - Live Forever None of which, ironically, feature on '(WTS)MG?'.

There are two tracks on that album that don't even have titles because they are simply filler tracks. My favourite Oasis album is The Masterplan and I thought they could've done a wonderful 2nd B-side album since a lot of my favourite songs were the B-sides. - You've Got the Heart of A Star - (As Long As They've Got) Cigarettes In Hell - Let's All Make Believe - Just Getting Older - Idler's Dream - Sittin' Here in Silence (On My Own) That's just a list of B-sides from after The Masterplan. I could probably pick a few from before The Masterplan that I'm surprised didn't make the cut.

And those interludes are actually just bits from a track called 'The Swamp Song' which was on The Masterplan album and they walked to the stage to it for their live shows until 'Fuckin' in the Bushes' came along.

Loved Oasis growing up, I still revisit their songs every now and then. I haven't heard much of Noels stuff but If I Had a Gun is pretty good.

That's just another way to say "filler tracks" And those interludes are actually just bits from a track called 'The Swamp Song' which was on The Masterplan album and they walked to the stage to it for their live shows until 'Fuckin' in the Bushes' came along. For the record, I knew this. Fuckin' in the Bushes was a better track. Bushes was also what they walk on to when I saw them live.

I figured you did, just nice to put this useless knowledge to "use" for once. Without a doubt FitB is better.

Who would've thought Noel would regress into mediocrity and Liam would make the more interesting music of the two?

I once saw noel open for Ryan Adams I think it was, there was a group of people screaming Liam's name and saying how good Liam was playing. I think they were trolling and it made me laugh.
