Ok, but why direct this movie? A sequel to a PG-13 comic book movie that critics hated. Just seems very odd and again beneath him. Because then WB might give him the resources to do one of his passion projects. |

He doesn't even need to use the same cast. He can put any villains he wants and do whatever it wants. It's the icing in the cake to get back in Hollywood's good grace. |

Again, Suicide Squad 2 is just so beneath his talents as a filmmaker. It makes sense for a ho-hum David Ayer, not for Mel Gibson.
