It'll be interesting to see if Anti-Trust Laws allow this. AT&T already bought Direct TV earlier this year. This would make AT&T and Comcast the only major TV and Internet providers. People like Doomsday who think they're changing the world by cutting the cord should brace themselves. It's only a matter of time before Disney buys Netflix and Apple buys Dish Network and Amazon merges with News Media (a/k/a Fox) and Sony buys whatever's leftover. And then the Internet will cost $100 a month. Pray for Google Fiber.
