So I will be heading to New York Comic Con this weekend for the first time in three years. All days and the full nine yards. Anything you guys want me to look out for? I can't make any promises but I post what relevant (or non relevant) news I come across. And pictures. Panels I for sure am attempting to attend: Constantine Daredevil Legend of Korra Batman 75 or Patrick Stewart (it's at the same time, I'm agonizing over this one guys.  ) Funimation and Crunchy Roll Still figuring out others, like the Disney and other industry panels. I'm excited. \o/ |

I really wish I could join you this year, but alas I'm out in a far away land. Hopefully you'll get to see Frank Cho again.

Unless you've met him before. Funny you mention that...I've actually had two near misses with him in the past. Once when I was studying in London, he was filming something just outside the hostel I was staying in. My classmates saw him but I walked out about 5 minutes after they wrapped. Second time was here in New York after I saw him in Macbeth. My friend and I got confused at to where the stage door was for the theater and he had left just as we were a rounding the corner. ...I think I've answered my own question. |

I don't think Greg Horn is either. :/ Frank Cho is Z2 Greg Horn is 2647 and J18 CJ Draden is 519 Cyanide and Happiness is 2247 Digital Pimp is 1155 If you get a chance I would recommend checking out the official after parties as well. I went to all three days of the after party for Philly and they were lots of fun. |

So CLEARLY I overestimated the time I would to share this craziness. In short I had fun. A lot of fun. So much that I'm weirdly emotional it's over.
Over the next couple of days I'll post some pictures and commentary once I can organize it all.
One thing I will say is its really exploded in the years since I last went. At least twice a big. Still I can't say I had a bad experience anywhere. They had a new ticketing system for main stage shows that made it fairly easy to get into the one you wanted with out having to camp out in other panels to make sure you could get a seat, freeing you up for other things. It's still fairly easy to navigate despite the crowds. Having fours days helps. Again, great time.

Was the last time you went was the one day with me? It definitely exploded, I was a little upset to see that not a single picture from CS! or SHH! had a photo of you. One of these days I will go again. Philly is also getting to be pretty big.
