You know that old joke from Aliens where they say the Hispanic Marine "thought they meant illegal aliens and signed up" and some claimed it was an in-joke about how the actress auditioned misinterpreting the title (which I guess is actually not true)?

Not quite sure what cutting his scenes accomplishes. The headache of Olivia Munn talking shit on social media. You can fire or refuse to hire someone for prior felony convictions. It's not a protected class like sex, gender, race, disability, etc. But I agree it's a publicity thing. |

That scene was completely pointless anyways. To be honest in retrospect it totally feels like a scene that only exists in order to get Shane Black's buddy some screen time.

I guess it's just me wondering how much someone has to pay in the court of public opinion before they're allowed to do things again. Louis CK for example, people are going nuts about him performing but is he not allowed to perform ever again? Or does he need to wait longer? If so how much longer? Or should people just decide not to pay to see him. |

I'm sure it has nothing to do with her stance on sex offenders and more to do with that they can't stand her. I like that people are pointing out that she's complaining about doing ONE scene with that guy, meanwhile, she did a whole movie with Bryan Singer. |

X-Men was before women were called to arms to take down Harvey Weinstein, so that's probably why she was silent at the time. Not to mention Singer's accusations at the time were dropped/found "not guilty" (it's been a while, I don't remember how that first one ended). Things didn't start flaring up again until Apocalypse was released.
Plus Singer's gay, so her mind might not have percieved him as a threat to herself. And at times it often feels like Munn is a bit self-absorbed so...
For the record, this is not me ignoring sexual assault allegations. I'm allowed to have a stance against that and think Munn is a bit of a bitch at the same time.
