Whatever they are they had better be fucking good. Star Wars is hanging by a thread and the reason people haven't kicked it to the curb entirely is because of Mandalorian and hopefully whatever other shows they're developing.

But there has to be some connecting thread to Star Wars lore. It doesn't have to be Skywalker per se but you have to have the Jedi or Sith or Empire or something else to maintain that thread, otherwise why call it Star Wars? It could be anything. But I'd also be shocked if they actually got a film off the ground, how many movies have been announced and cancelled in the past few years?
