How many of you have done it?
Those of you that have cut the cord, how many streaming services do you use, and how? Via tablet, chromecast on the TV, etc.?

I think Doomsday is the only one that actually cut the cord. There's nothing wrong with actual cable. Companies just need to offer a la carte.

I peered into the vastness and saw nothing. Felt nothing.

I've never paid for cable.
I use Netflix and Hulu for the moment, via computer and living room/bedroom televisions.

I cut the cord years ago, I've probably saved hundreds of dollars since. I'm not much of a sports guy nor do I watch a whole lot of television, mostly movies and with the options available that cost less than $50 combined I've never been hurting for anything to watch.

No, and I don't see myself doing so any time soon. I get fewer channels than I used to I guess but there's no way I'd be able to watch everything I want to watch without real cable. Generally I don't use streaming services and cable for the same things and I don't view one as a replacement for the other. Netflix gives me movies to watch and occasional binge watching series, cable lets me keep up on week to week shows and also has what I need when I want to just veg out infront of Food Network or ESPN or something.

How many services/apps do you maintain and do you use anything to aggregate them all? Good/bad experiences?

Amazon has yearly & monthly prices. Then there's iTunes & Vudu for rentals. That's really all you need. HBO Now isn't really necessary if you're just using it for one show. You can get a season pass and own the episodes.

Yeah Neverending beat me to it. I have all those including HBO Go which we steal from a friend but even so I think HBO Now is like $15? But HBO has a great movie selection. It doesn't have thousands of titles like Netflix has but 98% of Netflix's selection is unwatchable garbage while HBO has a lot of current releases and is adding new stuff all the time.

HBO has Warner Bros and Fox and Universal - I think. So, yes, every week there's a new current-release movie. But Netflix IS getting Disney pretty soon. So that'll be all the Marvel, Pixar and LucasFilm stuff.

Once I move into my new apartment, I doubt I"ll have cable any longer. I just don't use it enough.

It's not really pleasure reading unfortunately.
