Bill Simmons' best contribution to society was 30 for 30.
This is one of the best docs I've seen in a while.
Having no narrator as a choice is pretty awesome. They let stuff sit out there to sink in, to an often horrifying degree. Best example in my mind is the cop that placed him under arrest for beating Nicole but let him drive away. Saying well, if only someone caught him. You had the dude, he even had to come back to the house to live his life.
Anyone else watching?

ESPN can go fuck itself. Instead of giving people a chance to watch or record it by airing a decent amount of repeats, they scattered this shit throughout the next month. I'll just wait for Netflix to stream it. I honestly don't think I've ever watched a 30 for 30 on ESPN. Most of it has been on Netflix and the rest through OnDemand - back when I had it. |
