With Glee over and American Horror Story getting more popular every year, Ryan Murphy has created his new show: American CRIME Story. It'll be an anthology series just like American Horror Story but focus on crime stories instead. The first season, made up of 10 episodes, will be about the O.J. Simpson trial. The show will be on the air within the next year.

Interesting that the show called "True Detective" is fiction while the Ryan Murphy show is non-fiction.

I'll definitely watch the first season, only because Ryan Murphy has proved that after season 1, it's all downhill. He doesn't know how to make a show last for the long haul. Nip/Tuck ended poorly, Glee was cancelled because he couldn't learn from Degrassi's success and focus on the new cast members, and everything season of American Horror Story starts off good, but ends poorly.
It's a terrible track record to have.

American Horror Story's first season is almost laughable. It isn't scary. Season two is decent, but ultimately forgettable (the alien "subplot" is almost a cheap shot--it's a little too convenient), and season three is forgettable. Witches? Snore.
I'll skip Crime Story.

I watched it. I'm going to keep watching it. Even if the whole thing is one massive train wreck I'm going to be there to witness it all.
I'm curious if the script is at all based on transcripts of events that happen. Like... did OJ really have to ask if Nicole was dead after he had been told she was killed?
The forced nods to Kardashians who aren't Robert are hilarious.

Courtney Vance was on radio claiming OJ getting off was retribution for Emmett Till.
This is going to be a train wreck, but like Seakazoo, I'm in for the long haul.
Gotta love the shoehorned Kardashian references and Cuba Gooding Jr. Not even trying to act.

I wonder what the average viewer's age is for this show. When I asked my mom if she was going to watch she said she had no interest because she saw it all the first time around. I was in elementary school when this happened, so I was barely aware of what was going on.
