It's really good. It feels like a blend between Twin Peaks and The Leftovers in terms of the supernatural.

The ABC show was called Resurection and while it had a similar title and slightly similar premise it was actually completely unrelated. The actual remake to this was on A&E, and made no impact before being canceled.
