It looks like the streams on a bunch of those are being split between the versions from the original albums and the versions from compilations. Like, it's showing 353 million streams of Let it Be from the album Let it Be but then another 43 million of the version on the "1" compilation.

At this point Jibbs and thebtskink have enough officially released material to make their own A.I. John Lennon album. Dracula, listen with headphones to soak in all the breathing.

Jibbs thebtskink Dracula Doomsday SnoBorderZeroI know people upset cause they wanted Help! or Rubber Soul next, but this a quick way to utilize the Peter Jackson A.I. technology on those earliest records while also giving something to the Rubber Soul crowd. The remixed Love Me Do comes out next Thursday (Nov 2). If that sounds great, man, watch every artist from the early-to-mid 20th century start getting remixed.

I got a notification about this on Spotify. "The last Beatles song". They wanted me to preorder the vinyl or something for it.
Just let me listen to Octopus's Garden on repeat and leave me alone.

I love it. Giles Martin really is a chameleon. Dude didn’t stray at all from the Jeff Lynne production style. This song goes perfectly alongside Free as a Bird and Real Love. I feel like I’m listening to a song from 1995 but with all the 2023 Peter Jackson wizardry. I’m also hyped for the Red Album remix. Can’t believe they’re making us wait till next week. In my best spoiled children from Willy Wonka impression, “I want it now!”

Jibbs Doomsday SnoBorderZero Dracula Giles Martin accidentally revealed this during the promotional tour for Now & Then, but here are the full details: pitchfork.com/news/paul-mccartney-and-wings-reissuing-band-on-the-run-for-50th-anniversary/Paul McCartney and Wings will reissue their classic 1973 album, Band on the Run, for its 50th anniversary. Out February 2, 2024, the record will be expanded with two alternate versions: one in Dolby Atmos, the other “underdubbed,” meaning the orchestral parts have been removed. “This is Band on the Run in a way you’ve never heard before,” reads a quote attributed to McCartney in the press release. “When you are making a song and putting on additional parts, like an extra guitar, that’s an overdub. Well, this version of the album is the opposite, underdubbed.” The “Underdubbed” version comprises unreleased rough mixes created by Geoff Emerick and assistant Pete Swettenham at AIR Studios during the 1973 sessions. A new running order, which you can see below, mirrors that of the original analog tapes. The Dolby Atmos version was mixed by Giles Martin and Steve Orchard. Band on the Run (Underdubbed Mixes):01 Band on the Run 02 Mamunia 03 No Words 04 Jet 05 Bluebird 06 Mrs. Vandebilt 07 Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five 08 Picasso’s Last Words (Drink to Me) 09 Let Me Roll It
