From the show's page on Hulu.com:
"We all want to believe in something, but to what lengths will we go to find meaning? The Path explores the unknown and mysterious world of the cult-like Meyerist Movement in upstate New York. At the center of the movement lies Eddie (Aaron Paul), a conflicted husband; Sarah (Michelle Monaghan), his devoted wife; and Cal (Hugh Dancy), an ambitious leader. We follow each as they contend with deep issues involving relationships, faith, and power. The series takes an in-depth look at the gravitational pull of belief and what it means to choose between the life we live and the life we want."
The show premieres on March 30th.

I haven't watched any of Hulu's original shows. They're such an awful service that every month it becomes more and more difficult to justify paying for it.

Difficult People is the only other Hulu original that I've watched, and it's pretty funny. None of their other originals have stood out to me, but this looks like it could be pretty good. Plus, Aaron Paul just seems like a really cool guy, so I'm happy to see him getting more work. Based on what I saw of his acting in Breaking Bad I'd say he's a really good at acting in a drama, so I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do in this show.

I watched episode one tonight. It was alright, but not as good as I was hoping it would be. The plot moved slowly and flashbacks lasted entirely too long. Maybe because the flashbacks consisted of scenes we had already seen? I don't know. I'll probably keep watching, but it's going to have to pick up a bit if I'm going to stick with it past the first couple episodes.

The tone of some of the things about the Meyers Movement is very reminiscent of Scientology. Speaking from experience of sitting in their church for two hours. The light sensory check and just how they work. So far it isn't too bad. I'm going to see how this pan outs.

Watched the last episode of the season last night. The slow burn lead to a great build that now wants me to season 2 already.
