From my experience they are overpriced subwoofers disguised as headphones. No matter what I did to turn down the bass, it was still loud and got annoying. There are a lot better headphones out there that give you great quality sound and are worth paying the same price as a pair of Beats.

I've had a pair of Skullcandy earbuds that were really good to. It all depends on when you'll be using them the most.
