If it doesn't have Shemp Howard in it, it's not The Invisible Woman.

If it doesn't have Shemp Howard in it, it's not The Invisible Woman. Is this a reference to something, like the Claude Rains version of The Invisible Man? I think I saw that movie once as a kid on an old 13" black & white TV.

I think I saw that movie once as a kid on an old 13" black & white TV. The Invisible Woman was a 1940 screwball comedy/parody film that starred Virginia Bruce and John Barrymore, which in the years since has been labeled an official "Universal Monster" movie (despite not being a horror) and a sequel to The Invisible Man (despite having nothing to do with it, other than the invisibility concept). Shemp Howard had a supporting role as a thug. I actually like that movie quite a bit.

What he said. Shrimp was enjoying a solo career at the time that bounced around various studios, while Moe and Larry were under contract to Columbia along with Curly. They only film Moe, Larry, and Curly did for Universal was a little comedy based on a radio show called Myrt and Marge.

The one coming out with Elizabeth Moss already looks more Invisible Woman than it does Man, but sure, lets make this too.

If you saw the movie, you know the ending. Discuss.

If you saw the movie, you know the ending. Discuss. All I know is that it should have ended thirty seconds later, after Tom Cruise, Russel Crowe, and Luke Evans invite Elizabeth Moss to join the Dark Universe Avengers. But it didn't. Fuck that noise.
