So what IS the worst Tom Cruise movie? The candidates: Days of Thunder - Top Gun but with race cars The Firm - "I'm sure it's good but I don't remember anything about it." Lions for Lamb - That movie no one saw Rock of Ages - That musical no one saw Jack Reacher - That movie people saw but forgot about 5 seconds later. Jack Reacher 2 - That sequel no one saw

Cocktail did for bartending what Top Gun did for the Air Force. It's a classic.

Second to Magnolia is either Far and Away or Born on The Fourth of July.
Those two also suck.

Is anybody actually going to watch Mummy this weekend?
Too bad Tornado doesn't post here anymore, that guy would watch literally anything in theaters.

May go see it on Saturday. If only because I was pretty disappointed with It Comes At Night.

I may go see it, like I said, purely out of nostalgia for the 1999 version.

I go to Flix every Sunday night, and my choices are either The Mummy, or Pirates of the Caribbean. I already know I hate the PotC film series. At least this with this one, I can go in with a little bit of optimism.

The Mummy has dropped all the way down to 17% on Rotten Tomatoes. Even with the international market factored in, The Mummy will probably manage little more than breaking even. The foreign box office appears to be waiting for Transformers: Age of Revenge for the Last Dark Moon Knight's Extinction or whatever.

I'm actually really curious to see what Universal does at this point. I can't imagine them wanting to double down on something like this especially since there's even less of a demand for a Bride of Frankenstein remake than there was for another Mummy movie. But maybe they will, who knows. Very curious indeed.

Do you think you would have been more disappointed if you had seen the previews and been led to believe this was going to be a very scary monster horror film? Also, I didn't make it to The Mummy. I couldn't bring myself to do it. I'm gonna see Wonder Woman a second time tomorrow instead.

But maybe they will, who knows. Very curious indeed. It'll be directed by Bill Condon who made a movie by James Whales (Gods and Monsters) and has a Valentines Day release. It might work.

Yeah I heard, I'm just wondering what the new strategy going forward will be. Because they have to go back to some drawing board somewhere.
